How a drop is made

From the wall to your bag

Every drop goes through the same four steps in the studio, by the same four people.

  1. Draw it

Each graphic starts as a pencil sketch pinned to the studio wall, then gets cut down to one or two colours.

  2. Burn the screen

The drawing is exposed onto a mesh screen under a lamp, one screen for every colour.

  3. Pull by hand

Ink goes through the screen with a squeegee, one garment at a time, so every print is a little different.

  4. Cure and fold

The ink is heat-cured, the piece is checked, folded and packed with a sheet of this drop's stickers.
