Upload a .zip, import a public GitHub repository, or have your AI editor deploy it. The site is deployed to a private preview first and goes live as soon as the plan for its category is paid. Plain text: https://sitesfare.com/llms/features/host-your-app - [Build a website or web app with Sitesfare](https://sitesfare.com/features/build-a-website-or-app): With Sitesfare you can build a website three ways: pick one of 262 designed templates and edit it in a no-code visual editor; ask an AI editor such as ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor to build and edit it for you through Sitesfare Connect; or bring code you wrote yourself. Every site publishes to yourname.sitesfare.app with HTTPS, and drafting is free. Plain text: https://sitesfare.com/llms/features/build-a-website-or-app - [Host your vibe-coded app on Sitesfare](https://sitesfare.com/features/host-vibe-coded-apps): If you built ("vibe-coded") a website or front-end app with an AI tool — ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf or any other — Sitesfare can host it. Your AI editor deploys it for you through the Sitesfare MCP server (hosting_options → app_create → app_put_files → app_deploy), or you upload the files as a .zip. You get a private preview link straight away, and the site goes live at yourname.sitesfare.app once the plan for its category is paid. Plain text: https://sitesfare.com/llms/features/host-vibe-coded-apps - [Customise your website from any AI editor with the Sitesfare MCP server](https://sitesfare.com/features/ai-editors-mcp): Sitesfare Connect is Sitesfare's own MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp. Any AI editor that speaks MCP over streamable HTTP — ChatGPT, Claude (web and desktop), Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, Windsurf, Cline, Kimi and others — can read, edit and publish your Sitesfare websites: change any text, photo, link or date, add sections and buttons, change colours and fonts, start a new site from a template, undo changes, and deploy your own code. Plain text: https://sitesfare.com/llms/features/ai-editors-mcp - [A professional mailbox for your website](https://sitesfare.com/features/professional-email): Every paid Sitesfare tool includes at least one professional mailbox — an address such as contact@yourname.sitesfare.app, or hello@yourdomain.com once your own domain is connected with email. You read, write and reply to mail from the Mail tab in the Sitesfare dashboard; messages are sent through Sitesfare's mail server with DKIM signing, so they reach inboxes as proper business mail. Plain text: https://sitesfare.com/llms/features/professional-email - [Bring your own site — and your own domain — to Sitesfare](https://sitesfare.com/features/bring-your-own-site): You can bring an existing website to Sitesfare in two ways. Bring the site itself: upload its files as a .zip or import a public GitHub repository, and Sitesfare hosts it with HTTPS on Cloudflare. Bring your domain: connect a domain you already own (from GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger, Cloudflare or any registrar) so your Sitesfare site answers at www.yourdomain.com with HTTPS and an email address on it. Plain text: https://sitesfare.com/llms/features/bring-your-own-site - [Wedding websites with RSVP on Sitesfare](https://sitesfare.com/features/wedding-websites): Sitesfare makes wedding and celebration websites with guest RSVP and a live guest list, a card for every ceremony (time, dress code, add-to-calendar, directions), a photo gallery, venue maps and a countdown. Designs cover Indian (Telugu, Tamil, Kerala, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Rajasthani), Muslim and nikah, Christian, Jewish, Arab, Chinese, Malay, Filipino, Nigerian and Western weddings. Each site gets correct canonical links, Schema.org structured data, a sitemap.xml and robots.txt, an llms.txt file and a machine-readable profile (profile.json and profile.md) that AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini can read. Paid tools add a Google Search Console keyword report — clicks, impressions, CTR and position — and an AI-crawler report showing which AI bots visited your site. ChatGPT, Claude (claude.ai and desktop), Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, Windsurf, Cline, Kimi and any other editor that speaks MCP over streamable HTTP can read, edit, publish and build a person's Sitesfare websites: change any text, link, date or photo; hide or show sections and repeating items; add new sections of the person's own (heading, text, image, up to three buttons) anywhere on the page and add buttons to any section; change the accent colour, fonts and section backgrounds; upload images; publish; list and undo changes; start a new site from a template; read a template's design kit; build and deploy own-code static sites. The template's own code is not editable and stays on Sitesfare. Server card (discovery): https://sitesfare.com/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json Tools (36, Sitesfare Connect 1.2.0; full reference https://sitesfare.com/connect/tools): - Account and templates: account_me (Who am I connected as); account_sites (List the account's websites); template_list (List the templates) - Reading a website: site_get (Read a website); site_text (Read the page as text); section_html (Read one section's HTML) - Editing words, links, photos and the look: site_update_fields (Change text, links, dates or images); site_set_theme (Change colours, fonts, mood, scene); section_hide (Hide a section); section_show (Show a hidden section); item_hide (Hide a repeating item); item_show (Show a hidden item) - Adding sections and buttons: section_add (Add a new section); section_update (Change an added section); section_remove (Remove an added section); button_add (Add a button to a section); button_update (Change an added button); button_remove (Remove an added button) - Images: media_upload (Upload an image); media_list (List the media library); media_delete (Delete a media file) - Publishing and history: site_publish (Publish the site); site_revisions (History of changes); site_revert (Undo to a revision) - New websites: site_create (Create a new site from a template) - Design kits and the licence: kit_list (List the design kits); kit_get (Design kit of a template); kit_download (Download a design kit); license_get (The hosting licence); site_export (Export a site (not available)) - Hosting a site you built (your own code): hosting_options (Where can this site be hosted (categories and prices)); app_create (Create an own-code site (an app)); app_files (List an app's files); app_get_file (Read one of an app's files); app_put_files (Add or replace an app's files); app_deploy (Deploy an app) How to connect: (1) in the Sitesfare dashboard open AI editors and add "AI editor access" for the kind of website; (2) chat apps (ChatGPT, Claude) add the server URL as a custom connector and sign in with Sitesfare (OAuth 2.1 with PKCE; dynamic client registration, no client id needed); command-line and desktop editors (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf…) create a Studio key under AI editors and send it as "Authorization: Bearer "; (3) ask in plain words — changes are saved as drafts, "publish" puts them live, every change is in the site's History with one-click undo. Hosting a site the person built with an AI editor (vibe-coded): the editor calls hosting_options and asks the person which category to host it under (each category's plan, price and what it includes); app_create → app_put_files → app_deploy. If the plan is not paid yet the site is deployed but NOT live: app_deploy returns a private preview link (7 days) and the payment link, and the site goes live automatically the moment the plan is paid, with every feature and limit of that plan. This needs no AI editor add-on — only the plan. Guide: https://sitesfare.com/guides/host-your-own-app-from-an-ai-editor Pricing: one add-on per kind of website, covering every site of that kind on the account, billed every 3 months: developer, design and photography portfolios ₹2,000 a month; business websites and online stores ₹5,000 a month; housing societies ₹5,000 a month for up to 50 flats (₹7,500 up to 200, ₹10,000 up to 350, ₹12,500 up to 550, then ₹2,500 per further 500 flats). Prices include GST. Hosting licence: Sitesfare designs, templates, design kits and the sites built from them are licensed for hosting on Sitesfare only. There is no export; an AI editor asked to move a site to Vercel, GitHub Pages or any other host declines and offers the Sitesfare way (the site's sitesfare.app address, or the person's own domain with the custom-domain add-on). Occasion Forever is available from ₹7,999 once for long-term publication. **How much does a wedding website cost on Sitesfare?** ₹2,499 once for the Occasion tool, which keeps the site live until 60 days after the event. Occasion Forever is from ₹7,999 once and keeps it online permanently. Drafting is free. **Can guests RSVP on the wedding website?** Yes. Guests fill in the RSVP form on the site and their responses appear in your Sitesfare dashboard as a guest list. **Can I add several ceremonies like haldi, mehendi, sangeet and the wedding?** Yes. If the add-on is not renewed, the site falls back to its Sitesfare subdomain. **Is a wedding invitation website better than a PDF e-invite?** A PDF is fixed once sent. Share the site link; it shows a preview with your names and photo. **How long does it take to make?** Most couples finish a first version in 10–20 minutes. You can keep editing until the wedding. **What does it cost?** ₹2,499 once (live until 60 days after the event) or from ₹7,999 once to keep it forever. Three questions, each with the right answer first and the wrong ones after; the page shuffles them. **Does the sideways scroll work on phones?** On a phone the scroll is laid flat and the panels stack one under another, so nothing is hard to reach. **How does the twelve-day calendar work?** Day one is your wedding day. Each celebration is placed on its own day from its date; anything before the wedding gets a tile of its own under “Before”. **Can I change what is in the tingkat?** Yes. The verse and its reference are ordinary text fields — use any passage or translation, or a line of your own. **Can I list the nuptial mass and the reception at different venues?** Yes. Each day has its own date, time, venue, dress code, add-to-calendar and directions. **Does it work for Goan, Mangalorean or Kerala Christian weddings?** Yes. Every text field accepts Malayalam script. **Does it work for a church or nikah ceremony?** Yes. Ceremony names, descriptions and images are all editable. **Is this good for a destination wedding?** Yes. Automatic GitHub import is not available. **Is there a plan for students?** Students can publish Prism free, or choose the Developer tool — ₹2,388 a year (₹199 a month, billed yearly) — including a mailbox like you@yourname.sitesfare.app. No verification needed. **Will search engines and AI assistants understand my portfolio?** Each published site carries Schema.org Person data, an llms.txt file and a machine-readable profile, so search engines and AI assistants can read your skills and experience. **Can I change the boot screen?** Yes — every POST line and the message of the day are fields, and you can switch the boot off by hiding its section. **Does it work for a recruiter who is not technical?** Yes — it reads top to bottom like any portfolio: who you are, what you built and the result, then how to reach you. **Is there a light version?** Yes — the Paper terminal mood is a light theme; Amber and Green phosphor are dark. **How are the architecture diagrams drawn?** From each project’s three labels — for example Producers, Kafka, Consumers — drawn as the layers of a building section. **Is there a dark version?** Yes — the Blueprint mood is dark navy with white linework; Bone and Concrete are light. **Does it work on a phone?** Yes — the horizontal track becomes a vertical stack and the crosshair cursor turns off on touch. **Is it right for a PhD student?** Yes — list papers with venues, your supervisor’s words as a review, and grants; the numbers in the hero can be anything you choose. **Can I link to arXiv and Hugging Face?** Yes — every paper has its own link and source link, and each model card links anywhere. **Is it only for map makers?** No — the map is a metaphor. It suits any data engineer, analyst or visualisation developer. **Can I embed my own charts?** Each project links to its own page and to any live dashboard or notebook you choose. **Is it too playful for a AAA application?** The tone is yours to set: rename every label, choose the calmer Cabinet mood and turn the runner off by hiding nothing — it is subtle by design. **Can I show trailers?** Yes — each game links to its own page or straight to a trailer or store page. **Is it only for crypto?** No — it suits payments, banking and trading engineers equally; the chain is a metaphor for an auditable record. **Are the hashes real?** They are generated from each section for decoration; nothing is written to any chain. **Can I show my own sketches?** Each work links to its own page, a live sketch, a video or a marketplace listing. **What does Reseed do?** It rotates the page palette between five harmonies so visitors can see the work in different light. Your accent colour stays the first. **Can I keep clients anonymous?** Yes — every case-file title and description is yours to word; the template never needs a client name. **Can visitors see my encryption key?** Add your key fingerprint or a link to it in the contact text, or point the résumé button at it. **Do the SLO dials need real data?** No — you type the number; the dial draws itself from it. **Is it only for iOS?** No — it suits iOS, Android, Flutter and React Native equally; the device list and tags are yours to set. **Can I link to the App Store?** Yes — every app links to its own page or straight to a store listing. **Is it only for newsroom developers?** No — the newspaper is a device for showing typographic and layout skill; it suits any front-end or design engineer. **Does it support dark mode?** Yes — Night edition is a dark paper; Newsprint and Broadsheet are light. **Will the columns reflow on mobile?** Yes — multi-column stories collapse to a single readable column on small screens. **Is it only for space?** No — it suits any robotics, embedded, controls or hardware engineer; the mission framing is yours to tune. **Do the telemetry graphs need real data?** No — they are decorative sparklines drawn from each mission’s headline figure. **Is there a dark console mode?** Yes — Console is a dark control-room theme; Flight white and Hazard are light. **Does the glass effect need a strong GPU?** It is tuned to be cheap and turns itself off on low-power devices and for reduced-motion. **Can I embed live demos?** Yes — each project links to its own page, a live demo or a shader. **Is it only for compiler people?** No — it suits any developer-tools, DX or language engineer; the AST is a metaphor you can retitle. **Is there a dark mode?** Yes — Solarized dark; Solarized light and Paper mono are light. **Can projects link to crates.io or npm?** Yes — every project and package links anywhere you choose. **Is it too understated for a jobseeker?** It is aimed at independents who sell on trust; employees may prefer a fuller template, but every section is yours to expand. **Does the city use my real GitHub data?** No — the towers are decorative; you type the stars, forks and downloads yourself. **Can districts link to GitHub?** Yes — every repository links to its own page and to GitHub. **Can I link to arXiv?** Yes — every experiment links to its own page and to a preprint. **Is it only for tracing people?** No — it suits any backend, performance or SRE-adjacent engineer; the trace is a metaphor you can retitle. **Can metrics show before/after?** Yes — each project’s metric is free text, so “3s → 180ms” reads naturally. **Is it too sparse for a jobseeker?** Every section is yours to fill; the restraint is the message, but you can add as much as you like. **Do I need Japanese text?** No — the kanji labels are decorative and editable; replace them with your own words. **Is it only for HFT?** No — it suits any performance, systems or game-engine engineer; the lap metaphor is yours to retitle. **Do I need to verify that I am a student?** No. The Developer tool is open to everyone — no student ID or college email needed. **Can I start free?** Yes — a free account can publish one Prism portfolio. The Developer tool unlocks the other developer templates, the mailbox and longer analytics. **What happens after I graduate?** Move to Creative & Design to keep your template live, or switch to Prism on the free tier. **Which résumé formats work?** PDF, DOCX, DOC, TXT, Markdown and RTF. PDFs with selectable text work best. **Is it free?** Publishing one Prism portfolio is free. Upload a .zip, import a public GitHub repository, or have your AI editor deploy it. The site is deployed to a private preview first and goes live as soon as the plan for its category is paid. If you already have a site — written by hand, generated by an AI tool, or the built output of a framework such as React, Vue, Svelte, Astro or Next.js static export — you can host it on Sitesfare without rebuilding it in a template. Each hosted site sits on a plan for its kind of website (developer portfolio, design portfolio, photography, business, online store, housing society or wedding), so it gets that plan's storage, bandwidth, analytics and email addresses. ## What you get - Upload a .zip of your built site, or import a public GitHub repository and sync updates when you want - Deploy straight from ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex or any MCP editor through Sitesfare Connect - Serves HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WebAssembly (application/wasm), glTF/GLB 3D models, images, video and fonts with the right content types - Automatic HTTPS, Cloudflare CDN and DDoS protection - A private, noindex preview link (7 days) before you pay; it goes live automatically once the plan is paid - The plan's mailboxes, analytics and storage come with it; your own domain is a yearly add-on - Limits: up to 500 files and 25 MB per site (5 MB per file), within the plan's storage; a .zip can be up to 30 MB ## How it works 1. **Build or export your site.** Produce the static output: an index.html with its CSS, JavaScript and assets (for a framework, run its build and use the output folder). 2. **Upload it or connect GitHub.** In the Sitesfare dashboard choose "Own code", then upload the .zip or paste a public GitHub repository URL. An AI editor connected to Sitesfare can do this step for you. 3. **Pick the kind of website.** Choose the category the site belongs to — portfolio, business, store, society or wedding. Its plan sets the price, storage and features. 4. **Check the preview.** Sitesfare checks the files and gives you a private preview link, so you can see the site exactly as it will be served. 5. **Pay and go live.** Pay for the plan and the site goes live at yourname.sitesfare.app straight away. Upload a new version or sync from GitHub whenever it changes. ## Who it is for - Developers with a hand-written or framework-built site - People who built a site with an AI tool and need somewhere to put it - Anyone moving a static site from another host ## Price On the plan for the site's category — for example Developer ₹2,388/year, Creative & Design ₹8,388/year, Business Website ₹59,988/year. No extra hosting fee. ## FAQ **What kind of apps can I host on Sitesfare?** Static sites and front-end web apps: anything that runs in the browser from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WebAssembly files, including single-page apps, 3D/WebGL scenes and games. Server code (Node, PHP, Python), databases and build steps are not run on Sitesfare — upload the built output instead. **Can I host a React, Vue or Next.js app on Sitesfare?** Yes, as its static build output. Run the framework's build (for Next.js, a static export) and upload the output folder as a .zip, or import a public GitHub repository that contains the built files. **How big can a hosted site be?** Up to 500 files and 25 MB of code per site, 5 MB per file, within the storage of the site's plan. Large photo and video libraries belong in the site's media storage. **Do I have to pay before I can see my site?** No. Sitesfare deploys the site to a private preview link first (valid for 7 days, hidden from search engines). The site goes live at its address once the plan for its category is paid. **Can I import a private GitHub repository?** Not today. Public repositories and .zip uploads are supported; updates are synced when you choose, not on every push. ## Related - [Guide: bring your own code](https://sitesfare.com/guides/bring-your-own-code) - [Guide: host your own app from an AI editor](https://sitesfare.com/guides/host-your-own-app-from-an-ai-editor) - [Host vibe-coded apps](https://sitesfare.com/features/host-vibe-coded-apps) Page: https://sitesfare.com/features/host-your-app Last checked: 2026-10-23 --- # Build a website or web app with Sitesfare With Sitesfare you can build a website three ways: pick one of 262 designed templates and edit it in a no-code visual editor; ask an AI editor such as ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor to build and edit it for you through Sitesfare Connect; or bring code you wrote yourself. Every site publishes to yourname.sitesfare.app with HTTPS, and drafting is free. Nothing needs code. ## What you get - 262 templates across portfolios, business, e-commerce, housing societies and weddings - No-code visual editor with live preview; change any text, photo, colour or font - Build and edit by chat from ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex and other MCP editors - Résumé-to-site import on the Developer and Creative & Design tools - Contact forms delivered to your inbox, built-in analytics, and every change kept in History with undo - Publish to yourname.sitesfare.app with HTTPS on Cloudflare; your own domain as an add-on ## How it works 1. **Sign up free.** Create a Sitesfare account — drafting and editing any template is free. 2. **Choose a template.** Pick a template for the kind of site you are making, or start from your own code. 3. **Edit it.** Change the words, photos and colours in the visual editor, or ask your AI editor to do it in plain words. 4. **Publish.** Publish to yourname.sitesfare.app. The Prism developer portfolio publishes free; other templates publish with the plan for their category. ## Who it is for - Students and developers who want a portfolio - Small businesses and agencies - Couples planning a wedding - Apartment associations (RWAs) ## Price Free to draft; Prism publishes free. Changes are saved as drafts until you say publish. **Is Sitesfare free?** Drafting and editing every template is free, and the Prism developer portfolio can be published free on a sitesfare.app address. Other templates publish with the paid tool for their category. **How many templates does Sitesfare have?** 262 templates today, across developer, design and photography portfolios, business websites, online stores, housing societies and weddings. ## Related - [All templates](https://sitesfare.com/templates) - [What do you want to build?](https://sitesfare.com/website-builder) - [Customise with AI editors (MCP)](https://sitesfare.com/features/ai-editors-mcp) Page: https://sitesfare.com/features/build-a-website-or-app Last checked: 2026-10-23 --- # Host your vibe-coded app on Sitesfare If you built ("vibe-coded") a website or front-end app with an AI tool — ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf or any other — Sitesfare can host it. AI editors are good at writing a site and bad at the last step: finding a host, setting up HTTPS and an address, and keeping it online. Sitesfare does that last step, and the AI editor can do it without you leaving the chat. The editor first asks you what kind of site it is (portfolio, business, store, society or wedding) and shows that plan's price and what it includes, so there are no surprises. ## What you get - Deploy from the chat: the AI editor uploads the files and returns the preview link and the payment link - Works with any editor that speaks MCP over streamable HTTP, or by .zip upload with no AI at all - Hosting needs only the plan for the site's category — no AI editor add-on is required to host - HTTPS, Cloudflare CDN, analytics and the plan's email addresses included - Re-deploy a new version any time; the address stays the same - Static output only: up to 500 files and 25 MB per site (5 MB per file), within the plan's storage ## How it works 1. **Connect your AI editor to Sitesfare.** Add the Sitesfare MCP server as a connector in ChatGPT or Claude, or as an MCP server in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Windsurf (sign in with Sitesfare or use a Studio key). 2. **Ask it to host the site.** Say "host this site on Sitesfare". The editor lists the categories with their price and asks which one fits. 3. **Open the preview.** The editor deploys the files and gives you a private preview link valid for 7 days. 4. **Pay and go live.** Pay for the plan from the link the editor gives you; the site goes live automatically at yourname.sitesfare.app. ## Who it is for - People building sites with ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf, Lovable-style or Bolt-style tools that export static files - Developers who want deployment inside their AI workflow ## Price The plan for the site's category, e.g. Developer ₹2,388/year or Business Website ₹59,988/year. Hosting needs no AI editor add-on. ## FAQ **Where can I host a website I made with ChatGPT or Claude?** On Sitesfare. Connect ChatGPT or Claude to the Sitesfare MCP server and ask it to host the site, or download the files and upload them as a .zip in the Sitesfare dashboard. It goes live at yourname.sitesfare.app with HTTPS once the plan for its category is paid. **Can Cursor or Claude Code deploy my site to Sitesfare?** Yes. Add the Sitesfare MCP server with a Studio key and ask the editor to host the project; it uses the app_create, app_put_files and app_deploy tools and returns a preview link. **Does Sitesfare run my backend or database?** No. Sitesfare hosts static files that run in the browser. Server code, databases and build steps are not run; upload the built output. **Do I need the AI editor add-on to host a vibe-coded site?** No. Hosting a site needs only the plan for its category. The AI editor add-on is for editing Sitesfare template sites from an AI editor. ## Related - [Guide: host your own app from an AI editor](https://sitesfare.com/guides/host-your-own-app-from-an-ai-editor) - [Connect an AI editor](https://sitesfare.com/connect) - [Host your app (zip or GitHub)](https://sitesfare.com/features/host-your-app) Page: https://sitesfare.com/features/host-vibe-coded-apps Last checked: 2026-10-23 --- # Customise your website from any AI editor with the Sitesfare MCP server Sitesfare Connect is Sitesfare's own MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp. You do not have to start again to use Sitesfare. A site you already have can be hosted as it is; a domain you already pay for can point at your Sitesfare site. Connecting a domain takes one or two DNS records at your registrar; Sitesfare shows exactly which records to add and checks them for you, then issues the HTTPS certificate. ## What you get - Host your existing static site: .zip upload or public GitHub import, with manual sync - Connect a domain from any registrar; Sitesfare shows the exact DNS records and checks them - Automatic HTTPS certificate on your domain - Canonical links, sitemap and robots.txt move to your domain automatically - One email address on the domain included with the add-on - If the add-on lapses, the site falls back to yourname.sitesfare.app — nothing is lost ## How it works 1. **Bring the site.** In the dashboard choose Own code and upload a .zip or paste a public GitHub URL — or pick a template if you are rebuilding. 2. **Add the custom-domain add-on.** On any paid tool, add Custom domain (₹4,999/year per domain). 3. **Add the DNS records.** Type your domain; Sitesfare shows the record(s) to add at your registrar. Our DNS guide covers each major registrar. 4. **Wait for the check.** Sitesfare checks the records and issues HTTPS. The site then answers on your domain. ## Who it is for - Anyone with a site on another host - Businesses with an existing domain - Developers moving from GitHub Pages, Netlify-style or shared hosting ## Price Own-code hosting is on the plan for the site's category. Custom domain ₹4,999/year per domain on any paid tool, HTTPS and one email address included. ## FAQ **Can I move my existing website to Sitesfare?** Yes, if it is a static site: upload its files as a .zip or import a public GitHub repository (up to 500 files and 25 MB per site (5 MB per file), within the plan's storage). Sites that need server code or a database must be rebuilt as static output or with a template. **Can I use a domain I bought somewhere else?** Yes. With the custom-domain add-on (₹4,999/year) you add one or two DNS records at your registrar and Sitesfare serves your site on the domain with HTTPS. Confirm availability in your dashboard before buying. **What happens if I stop paying for the domain add-on?** The site falls back to its yourname.sitesfare.app address and visitors to the domain are redirected there. Paying again brings the domain back. **Do I need to transfer my domain to Sitesfare?** No. The domain stays at your registrar; you only add DNS records that point it at Sitesfare. ## Related - [Guide: bring your own code](https://sitesfare.com/guides/bring-your-own-code) - [Guide: connect your own domain](https://sitesfare.com/guides/connect-your-own-domain) - [Guide: DNS records by registrar](https://sitesfare.com/guides/dns-records-by-registrar) - [Guide: domain troubleshooting](https://sitesfare.com/guides/domain-troubleshooting) Page: https://sitesfare.com/features/bring-your-own-site Last checked: 2026-10-23 --- # Wedding websites with RSVP on Sitesfare Sitesfare makes wedding and celebration websites with guest RSVP and a live guest list, a card for every ceremony (time, dress code, add-to-calendar, directions), a photo gallery, venue maps and a countdown. Search is no longer just ten blue links: people ask ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI answers, and those engines quote sites they can read and trust. Sitesfare publishes every site in the formats both kinds of engine read. Nothing here needs setup or plugins — it is applied automatically every time you publish. ## What you get - Canonical and Open Graph URLs that point at your real address (sitesfare.app or your domain) - Schema.org JSON-LD structured data on every page - Per-site sitemap.xml and robots.txt, ready to submit in Google Search Console - llms.txt plus profile.json and profile.md — a clean, machine-readable summary for AI assistants - SEO + AEO pack: connect Google Search Console to see real keywords — clicks, impressions, CTR and average position - AI-crawler report (Creative & Design, Photography, Business): which AI bots crawled which pages - Fast by default: static pages on Cloudflare's CDN with HTTPS ## How it works 1. **Publish your site.** Structured data, sitemap, robots.txt and llms.txt are generated automatically. 2. **Verify in Search Console.** Add the Google verification tag from the dashboard and submit your sitemap. 3. **Connect keyword reports.** Link Google Search Console (read-only) in Analytics to see the searches that find you. 4. **Watch AI crawlers.** On tools with the AI-crawler report, see which AI bots read your pages and when. ## Who it is for - Businesses that want to be found locally and by AI assistants - Portfolios that want recruiters to find them - Anyone who wants SEO without plugins ## Price Structured data, sitemap, robots.txt and llms.txt on every published site. The SEO + AEO pack is on every paid tool (from ₹2,388/year); the AI-crawler report on Creative & Design, Photography and Business Website. ## FAQ **What is AEO?** Answer engine optimisation: making a site easy for AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google's AI answers to read, understand and quote. Sitesfare does this with structured data, llms.txt and a machine-readable profile on every site. **Does Sitesfare do SEO automatically?** Yes. Every published site gets correct canonical links, Schema.org structured data, a sitemap and robots.txt without any setup. **Can I see which keywords bring visitors to my site?** Yes, on paid tools. Connect Google Search Console (read-only) and the dashboard shows each query's clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position. **Can I see if ChatGPT or other AI bots read my site?** Yes. The AI-crawler report on Creative & Design, Photography and Business Website shows which AI crawlers visited and which pages they read. **Does Sitesfare guarantee a first-page ranking?** No one can honestly guarantee rankings. Sitesfare makes sure your site is technically correct, fast and readable by search and answer engines, and shows you the data to improve it. ## Related - [Business website builder](https://sitesfare.com/website-builder/business-website) - [Developer portfolio builder](https://sitesfare.com/website-builder/developer-portfolio-website) - [Guides](https://sitesfare.com/guides) Page: https://sitesfare.com/features/seo-aeo Last checked: 2026-10-23 --- # Guides (full text) # Edit your website from ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or any AI editor > How Sitesfare Connect works: add AI editor access, connect your editor by signing in or with a Studio key, ask for changes in plain words, publish, undo. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/connect-ai-editors Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Add AI editor access.** In your Sitesfare dashboard open AI editors and add access for the kind of website you have (developer, design or photography portfolio; business; online store; housing society). It covers every site of that kind on your account. 2. **Connect your editor.** Chat apps sign in with your Sitesfare account; command-line and desktop editors use a Studio key. The server address is https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp everywhere. 3. **Ask for changes.** Say what to change in plain words, paste a screenshot of a section, or give text and photos. Changes are saved as drafts. 4. **Publish.** Say “publish” when you are happy; the site goes live on its sitesfare.app address or your own domain. 5. **Undo if needed.** Open the site’s History tab in the dashboard (or ask the editor to undo) — every change can be reverted. Sitesfare Connect lets the AI editor you already use — ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Kimi, Cline or any other editor that speaks MCP — read, edit, publish and build your Sitesfare websites. You talk; it changes the site; everything stays hosted on Sitesfare. ## What you need - A Sitesfare account with a website (any template), and the tool for its category. - **AI editor access** for that kind of website — an add-on under **Dashboard → AI editors**. One add-on per kind covers every site of that kind on your account: - developer, design and photography portfolios: **₹2,000 a month** - business websites and online stores: **₹5,000 a month** - housing societies: **₹5,000 a month** for up to 50 flats, more for larger societies Billed every three months (the first term is the minimum); cancel any time after that. ## Two ways to connect Every editor talks to the same address: `https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp`. | Editor | How it connects | Guide | | --- | --- | --- | | ChatGPT | Sign in with Sitesfare (or a Studio key as a token) | [Connect ChatGPT](/guides/connect-chatgpt) | | Claude (claude.ai, desktop) | Sign in with Sitesfare | [Connect Claude](/guides/connect-claude) | | Claude Code | Studio key, or sign in with `/mcp` | [Connect Claude Code](/guides/connect-claude-code) | | Cursor | Studio key (or sign in) | [Connect Cursor](/guides/connect-cursor) | | Codex CLI | Studio key in an environment variable, or `codex mcp login` | [Connect Codex CLI](/guides/connect-codex) | | Windsurf, Kimi, Cline, others | Studio key | [Connect any MCP editor](/guides/connect-windsurf-kimi-cline) | **Sign in with Sitesfare** is the simplest: the editor sends you to a Sitesfare page that shows exactly what it may do (read sites, change content, publish, upload images); you click **Allow**. You can disconnect it any time under **AI editors → Connected apps**. **A Studio key** is for command-line and desktop editors. Create one under **AI editors → Studio keys** — it is shown once, works like a password, carries only the scopes you tick, and can be revoked at any time. Give each editor and computer its own key. ## What an editor can do - Read a site: its sections, fields, theme and media — and the page as text, so it can match a screenshot to a section. - Change words, links, dates and photos; hide or show sections and repeating items (projects, events, photos…); change the accent colour, fonts, mood and per-section backgrounds. - Add a new section of your own anywhere on the page — heading, text, a photo and buttons — and add a button to any section. [How →](/guides/add-a-section-or-button-with-ai) - Upload images to your media library, publish, read the history and undo a change. - Start a new site from any of the templates, and read the template's design kit — palette, typography, tokens, sections — to edit in its voice; download the official kit (AI editors → Design kits, or `kit_download`). - Build a design or app of its own and host it on Sitesfare — see [Build and host your own design or app from an AI editor](/guides/host-your-own-app-from-an-ai-editor). It cannot change a template's own code: the design lives on Sitesfare. See [Edit a section from a screenshot, text or photos](/guides/edit-from-a-screenshot) for how to ask. ## Drafts, publishing and undo Every change an editor makes is saved as a **draft** on the site and kept in the site's **History** (dashboard → your website → **History**) with who made it and which fields changed. Say **"publish"** to put the draft live. **Undo this change** in History — or asking the editor to undo — restores the content as it was before that change; a revert can itself be undone. ## Safety - An editor only gets the access you give it: the scopes on a key, or what you approved at sign-in. - Every value is checked before it reaches a site (text lengths, colours, image links); scripts and HTML in a field are refused. - Every action is logged under **AI editors → Activity**, with its result. - Payment details, passwords and other accounts are never involved — the editor never sees them. ## The hosting licence Sitesfare designs, templates, design kits and the websites built from them are licensed for hosting on Sitesfare only. There is no export, and every editor connected to Sitesfare is told the rule. Ask it to move a site to Vercel, GitHub Pages or any other host and it will decline and offer the Sitesfare way instead: your `yourname.sitesfare.app` address, or [your own domain](/guides/connect-your-own-domain) with the custom-domain add-on. ## Troubleshooting - **"This account does not hold AI editor access …"** — add the add-on for that kind of website under AI editors. The message names the add-on and the price. - **401 / "unauthorized"** — the key was revoked, mistyped, or pasted with spaces. Create a new one. For a signed-in app, disconnect and connect again. - **"This site runs the account's own code"** — template tools edit template sites; own-code sites use the app tools (app_files, app_put_files, app_deploy). See [Build and host your own design or app](/guides/host-your-own-app-from-an-ai-editor). - **The editor refuses to export the site** — by design; see the hosting licence above. ## Questions **Which editors work?** Any editor that speaks MCP over HTTP: ChatGPT, Claude (claude.ai and desktop), Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI, Windsurf, Cline, Kimi and others. There are step-by-step guides for each. **Do I need a separate add-on for each website?** No. One add-on per kind of website covers every site of that kind on your account — for example, one “design portfolio” add-on covers all your design portfolio sites. **Can the AI break my site?** Every value is checked before it is saved (lengths, colours, image links), the template’s own code cannot be changed, and every change is kept in History with one-click undo. --- # Connect ChatGPT to your Sitesfare website > Add Sitesfare as a custom connector in ChatGPT (Developer mode), sign in with Sitesfare, and edit or publish your website from a chat. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/connect-chatgpt Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Add AI editor access in Sitesfare.** Dashboard → AI editors → add access for the kind of website you have. 2. **Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT.** Profile menu → Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → Developer mode on. 3. **Create the connector.** Apps & Connectors → Create. Name: Sitesfare. Connector URL: https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp. Authentication: OAuth. Click Create. 4. **Sign in with Sitesfare.** ChatGPT opens the Sitesfare consent page. Sign in if asked and click Allow. 5. **Ask for changes.** In a chat, say what to change (“Use Sitesfare to update the About section with…”). Confirm when ChatGPT asks, then say “publish”. ChatGPT can edit and publish your Sitesfare website once Sitesfare is added as a **custom connector**. Custom connectors are available on ChatGPT **Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu**; on a workspace plan an admin may need to allow connectors first. ## Before you start - In your Sitesfare dashboard open **AI editors** and add **AI editor access** for the kind of website you have (one add-on covers every site of that kind). See [how Sitesfare Connect works](/guides/connect-ai-editors). ## 1. Turn on Developer mode 1. In ChatGPT, open your profile menu and choose **Settings**. 2. Open **Apps & Connectors**. 3. Scroll to the bottom and open **Advanced settings**. 4. Turn on **Developer mode**. Developer mode is what lets a connector make changes (publish, update a section) rather than only search. ## 2. Create the connector 1. Back in **Apps & Connectors**, click **Create**. 2. Fill in: - **Name:** `Sitesfare` - **Description:** `Edit and publish my Sitesfare websites` - **Connector URL:** `https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp` - **Authentication:** **OAuth** 3. Click **Create**. ChatGPT opens the Sitesfare **Sign in with Sitesfare** page. Sign in if asked, read what ChatGPT will be able to do, and click **Allow**. You are sent back to ChatGPT and the Sitesfare tools are registered. Prefer not to sign in? Choose **Token** as the authentication and paste a **Studio key** (Dashboard → AI editors → Studio keys → Create key). ## 3. Use it in a chat Start a new chat and ask in plain words. ChatGPT chooses the Sitesfare tools when they fit; to be explicit, name it: *"Use Sitesfare to hide the testimonials section on my portfolio and change the accent colour to deep green."* ChatGPT asks you to confirm before anything that changes the site, saves the change as a draft, and tells you when it is done. Say **"publish"** to put it live. Every change is kept in the site's **History** in your dashboard with one-click undo — or just tell ChatGPT to undo it. Things to try: - "Show me my Sitesfare websites." - "Update the About section with this text: …" - "Replace the hero photo with the image I attached." - "Here is a screenshot of a section — change the heading to 'Selected work'." - "Undo the last change." ## Troubleshooting - **The Sitesfare tools do not appear.** Check that Developer mode is on, that the connector was created without an error, and start a new chat. Name the connector in your message ("Use Sitesfare to…"). - **"This account does not hold AI editor access…"** Add the add-on for that kind of website under AI editors; the message says which one. - **Sign-in page says the request expired.** Go back to ChatGPT and click the connector again — each sign-in request is valid for ten minutes. - **You want to disconnect ChatGPT.** Dashboard → AI editors → **Connected apps** → Disconnect. Its access ends immediately. ## Questions **Which ChatGPT plans can add custom connectors?** Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu. The free plan cannot add custom connectors. On Business, Enterprise and Edu an admin may need to enable connectors for the workspace. **ChatGPT asks for a token instead of signing in — what do I paste?** A Studio key: Dashboard → AI editors → Studio keys → Create key, then paste it as the token. Signing in (OAuth) is simpler and can be revoked from Connected apps. **The Sitesfare tools do not show up in my chat.** Make sure Developer mode is on, the connector was created without an error, and start a new chat. Name the connector in your message: “Use Sitesfare to…”. --- # Connect Claude to your Sitesfare website > Add Sitesfare as a custom connector in Claude (claude.ai and the desktop app), sign in with Sitesfare, and edit or publish from a conversation. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/connect-claude Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Add AI editor access in Sitesfare.** Dashboard → AI editors → add access for the kind of website you have. 2. **Open Connectors in Claude.** Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector (Pro and Max; on Team/Enterprise an organization owner adds it). 3. **Add the connector.** Name: Sitesfare. Remote MCP server URL: https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp. Leave Advanced settings empty. Click Add. 4. **Connect and sign in with Sitesfare.** Click Connect next to Sitesfare, then Allow on the Sitesfare page. 5. **Turn it on in a conversation and ask.** In the tools menu make sure Sitesfare is enabled, then describe the change; say “publish” to go live. Claude — on claude.ai and in the Claude desktop app — can edit and publish your Sitesfare website once Sitesfare is added as a **custom connector**. Custom connectors are available on Claude **Pro and Max**; on **Team and Enterprise** an organization owner adds the connector for everyone. ## Before you start - In your Sitesfare dashboard open **AI editors** and add **AI editor access** for the kind of website you have (one add-on covers every site of that kind). See [how Sitesfare Connect works](/guides/connect-ai-editors). ## 1. Add the connector 1. In Claude, open **Settings → Connectors**. 2. Click **Add custom connector**. 3. Fill in: - **Name:** `Sitesfare` - **Remote MCP server URL:** `https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp` - Leave **Advanced settings** (OAuth client ID and secret) empty — Sitesfare registers Claude automatically. 4. Click **Add**. On a Team or Enterprise plan, an **organization owner** does the same under **Organization settings → Connectors**; members then find **Sitesfare** in their own **Settings → Connectors** marked *Custom*. ## 2. Connect and sign in with Sitesfare Next to **Sitesfare** in your connectors list, click **Connect**. Claude opens the Sitesfare **Sign in with Sitesfare** page: sign in if asked, read what Claude will be able to do, and click **Allow**. You are sent back to Claude. ## 3. Use it in a conversation In a conversation, open the tools menu (the **+** or sliders button next to the message box) and make sure **Sitesfare** is enabled. Then ask in plain words — or paste a screenshot of a section and say what to change: - "Show me my Sitesfare websites." - "Update the About section of my portfolio with this: …" - "Here is a screenshot of my services section — change the heading to 'What I do' and make the third card about motion design." - "Hide the testimonials and publish." Claude saves changes as drafts and tells you what it did; say **"publish"** to put them live. Every change is in the site's **History** with one-click undo. The Claude desktop app uses the same connectors — nothing more to set up. ## Troubleshooting - **Claude asks for an OAuth client ID and secret.** Leave both empty and click Add; Sitesfare supports dynamic registration. - **"This account does not hold AI editor access…"** Add the add-on for that kind of website under AI editors; the message says which one. - **The tools are not used.** Check Sitesfare is enabled in the conversation's tools menu, and name it: "Use Sitesfare to…". - **You want to disconnect Claude.** Dashboard → AI editors → **Connected apps** → Disconnect (and remove the connector in Claude's settings). Using **Claude Code** in the terminal instead? See [Connect Claude Code](/guides/connect-claude-code). ## Questions **Does this work in the Claude desktop app?** Yes — connectors added on claude.ai are available in the desktop app with the same sign-in. **Claude asks for an OAuth client ID and secret.** Leave them empty. Sitesfare supports dynamic client registration, so Claude registers itself when you click Add. **Can I use Claude Code instead?** Yes — see the Claude Code guide. It uses a Studio key, or signs in with /mcp. --- # Connect Claude Code to your Sitesfare website > One command adds Sitesfare to Claude Code with a Studio key (or sign in with /mcp); then edit, publish and undo from the terminal. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/connect-claude-code Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Add AI editor access in Sitesfare.** Dashboard → AI editors → add access for the kind of website you have. 2. **Create a Studio key.** AI editors → Studio keys → name it (e.g. “Claude Code on my laptop”) → Create key → copy it. 3. **Add the server.** Run: claude mcp add --transport http sitesfare https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer " 4. **Use it.** Start claude, check /mcp, then ask for changes; say “publish” when ready. Claude Code can edit, publish and undo changes on your Sitesfare website from the terminal. One command adds the server. ## Before you start - In your Sitesfare dashboard open **AI editors** and add **AI editor access** for the kind of website you have. See [how Sitesfare Connect works](/guides/connect-ai-editors). - Create a **Studio key**: AI editors → **Studio keys** → name it (for example "Claude Code on my laptop") → **Create key** → copy it. It is shown once. ## 1. Add the server ```bash claude mcp add --transport http sitesfare https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer " ``` Claude Code confirms: *Added HTTP MCP server sitesfare…*. The key is stored in Claude Code's own config on your computer. **Prefer signing in instead of a key?** Add the server without the header, start `claude`, type `/mcp`, choose **sitesfare** and follow the sign-in — you approve on the Sitesfare page and come back connected. ```bash claude mcp add --transport http sitesfare https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp ``` ## 2. Use it ```text $ claude > /mcp # sitesfare · connected > Show me my Sitesfare websites and hide the testimonials on ira ``` Claude Code calls the Sitesfare tools (`account_sites`, `section_hide`…), saves the change as a draft and tells you. Say **"publish"** to put it live. Every change is in the site's **History** in the dashboard with one-click undo — or just say "undo that". Things to try: - "Replace the hero photo with ./hero.jpg" — it uploads the file to your media library and sets the field. - "Here's a screenshot of the section — change the heading to 'Selected work'." - "Change the display font to Syne and the accent to #1F6F4A, then publish." - "Start a new photography site called studio-ira from the Darkroom template." ## Sharing with a team Add the server with `--scope project`: the server URL goes into `.mcp.json` in the repository (without any key), and each person signs in with `/mcp` or sets their own header. ## Troubleshooting - **401 / unauthorized** — the key was pasted incompletely (it starts with `sfk_` and is 47 characters) or was revoked. Create a new one and run `claude mcp remove sitesfare` then add it again. - **"This account does not hold AI editor access…"** — add the add-on for that kind of website under AI editors; the message says which one. - **The server shows as failed** — check you used `--transport http` (not sse or stdio) and the exact URL `https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp`. ## Questions **Can I sign in instead of using a key?** Yes. Run claude mcp add --transport http sitesfare https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp without the header, then type /mcp inside Claude Code and choose Sitesfare to sign in with your account. **Where is the key stored?** In Claude Code’s local config on your computer (user scope by default). Revoke the key from AI editors if the computer changes hands. **Can my team use it from a shared repo?** Add the server with --scope project; the URL goes into .mcp.json without the key, and each person signs in with /mcp or sets their own header. --- # Connect Cursor to your Sitesfare website > Add Sitesfare to Cursor’s mcp.json with a Studio key, see the tools appear, and edit or publish your site from Cursor’s agent chat. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/connect-cursor Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Add AI editor access in Sitesfare.** Dashboard → AI editors → add access for the kind of website you have. 2. **Create a Studio key.** AI editors → Studio keys → Create key → copy it. 3. **Open mcp.json.** Cursor Settings → Tools & MCP → New MCP Server (global: ~/.cursor/mcp.json; per project: .cursor/mcp.json). 4. **Add the server.** Under mcpServers add "sitesfare": { "url": "https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer " } } and save. 5. **Ask in the agent chat.** Describe the change; approve the tool call; say “publish” when ready. Cursor's agent can edit, publish and undo changes on your Sitesfare website. Sitesfare is added like any remote MCP server: a URL and a header in `mcp.json`. ## Before you start - In your Sitesfare dashboard open **AI editors** and add **AI editor access** for the kind of website you have. See [how Sitesfare Connect works](/guides/connect-ai-editors). - Create a **Studio key**: AI editors → **Studio keys** → **Create key** → copy it. It is shown once. ## 1. Open mcp.json Open **Cursor Settings → Tools & MCP** (also reachable from **Customize** in the sidebar) and click **New MCP Server**. Cursor opens `~/.cursor/mcp.json` — the global file, for every project. For one project only, create `.cursor/mcp.json` inside that project instead. ## 2. Add Sitesfare ```json { "mcpServers": { "sitesfare": { "url": "https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer " } } } } ``` Save. Back in **Tools & MCP**, **sitesfare** turns green and lists its tools. You can toggle a server on or off here any time. To keep the key out of the file, put it in an environment variable and reference it: `"Authorization": "Bearer ${env:SITESFARE_KEY}"`. **Prefer signing in?** Leave out `headers`; Cursor shows **Needs login** next to the server — click it and approve on the Sitesfare page. ## 3. Ask in the agent chat Cursor uses the Sitesfare tools when they fit, and asks before running one (expand the call to see exactly what it changes): - "Show me my Sitesfare websites." - "Update the About section of ira with this text: …" - "Here's a screenshot of the gallery — use these four photos from ./shoot/ and publish." - "Undo the last change on ira." Changes are saved as drafts; say **"publish"** to put them live. Every change is in the site's **History** in the dashboard. ## Troubleshooting - **The server shows but no tools.** Check the key was pasted whole (it starts with `sfk_`), then toggle the server off and on. The first tool call explains anything missing (for example the add-on for the site's category). - **"This account does not hold AI editor access…"** Add the add-on for that kind of website under AI editors. - **401 / unauthorized.** The key was revoked or mistyped — create a new one. ## Questions **Can I keep the key out of the file?** Yes: put the key in an environment variable and reference it as "Bearer ${env:SITESFARE_KEY}" in the header. **Cursor says “Needs login”.** Sitesfare also supports signing in: remove the headers block, click the login prompt, and approve on the Sitesfare page. **The server shows but no tools.** Check the key was pasted whole (it starts with sfk_) and that your account holds AI editor access for the site’s category — the first tool call explains what is missing. --- # Connect Codex CLI to your Sitesfare website > Add Sitesfare to Codex CLI’s config.toml with a Studio key in an environment variable (or sign in with codex mcp login), then edit and publish from the terminal. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/connect-codex Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Add AI editor access in Sitesfare.** Dashboard → AI editors → add access for the kind of website you have. 2. **Create a Studio key.** AI editors → Studio keys → Create key → copy it. 3. **Edit config.toml.** In ~/.codex/config.toml add: [mcp_servers.sitesfare] url = "https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp" bearer_token_env_var = "SITESFARE_KEY". 4. **Export the key and start Codex.** export SITESFARE_KEY=, then run codex; /mcp shows sitesfare. 5. **Ask.** Describe the change; say “publish” when ready. Codex CLI can edit, publish and undo changes on your Sitesfare website from the terminal. Sitesfare is a remote (streamable HTTP) MCP server in Codex's `config.toml`. ## 1. Add the server to config.toml Open `~/.codex/config.toml` and add: ```toml [mcp_servers.sitesfare] url = "https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp" bearer_token_env_var = "SITESFARE_KEY" ``` `bearer_token_env_var` is the **name** of an environment variable; Codex reads the key from it and sends it as the Authorization header, so the key never sits in the file. ## 2. Export the key and start Codex ```bash export SITESFARE_KEY= codex ``` Add the `export` line to your shell profile (`~/.zshrc` or `~/.bashrc`) to keep it. Inside Codex, `/mcp` lists the connected servers; `codex mcp list` does the same from the shell. **Prefer signing in instead of a key?** Register the server and log in — Codex opens the Sitesfare page where you click Allow: ```bash codex mcp add sitesfare --url https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp codex mcp login sitesfare ``` ## 3. Ask - "Show me my Sitesfare websites." - "Replace the hero photo on ira with ~/Desktop/hero.jpg and publish." - "Here's a screenshot — change the heading of that section to 'Selected work'." - "Undo the last change on ira." Changes are saved as drafts; say **"publish"** to put them live. Every change is in the site's **History** in the dashboard with one-click undo. ## Troubleshooting - **401 / unauthorized.** `echo $SITESFARE_KEY` should print a key starting with `sfk_`; if not, export it in the same shell you start Codex from. - **"This account does not hold AI editor access…"** Add the add-on for that kind of website under AI editors. - **Codex cannot read my image.** Give it the file path; it uploads through `media_upload` (up to 5 MB per image). An `https://` link to the image also works. ## Questions **Can I sign in instead of using a key?** Yes: codex mcp add sitesfare --url https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp, then codex mcp login sitesfare and approve on the Sitesfare page. **Codex cannot read my image file.** Point it at the file path; Codex uploads it through media_upload (up to 5 MB per image). Or give it an https link to the image. --- # Connect Windsurf, Kimi, Cline or any other MCP editor to your Sitesfare website > Any editor that speaks MCP over HTTP can edit your Sitesfare website: the server URL plus an Authorization header with a Studio key. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/connect-windsurf-kimi-cline Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Add AI editor access in Sitesfare.** Dashboard → AI editors → add access for the kind of website you have. 2. **Create a Studio key.** AI editors → Studio keys → Create key → copy it. 3. **Add the server to your editor.** Wherever the editor lists MCP servers, add a streamable-HTTP server with URL https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp and the header Authorization: Bearer . Windsurf: mcp_config.json with serverUrl + headers. Cline: MCP Servers → Remote Servers → name + URL, then the header in cline_mcp_settings.json. 4. **Ask.** Describe the change; say “publish” when ready. Any editor that speaks **MCP over HTTP** can edit, publish and undo changes on your Sitesfare website: Windsurf, Cline, Kimi, DeepSeek-based editors, Zed, Continue, VS Code's agent mode and others. They all need the same two things. ## The two things every editor needs | | Value | | --- | --- | | Server URL | `https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp` (transport: streamable HTTP — some editors call it "remote" or "http") | | Header | `Authorization: Bearer ` | If the editor supports signing in to remote servers (OAuth), you can leave the header out and approve on the Sitesfare page instead. ## Windsurf Open **Settings → MCP** (or **Windsurf Settings → Cascade → MCP servers**) and edit `~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json`: ```json { "mcpServers": { "sitesfare": { "serverUrl": "https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer " } } } } ``` Save and refresh the MCP list; **sitesfare** appears with its tools. Ask Cascade in plain words. ## Cline (VS Code) Open the **MCP Servers** panel → **Remote Servers** → add **sitesfare** with the URL `https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp`. Then open `cline_mcp_settings.json` (gear icon) and add the header to the entry: ```json "sitesfare": { "url": "https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp", "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer " } } ``` ## Kimi, DeepSeek-based and other editors Wherever the editor lists MCP servers, add a remote/HTTP server with the URL and the header above. The field names differ (`url` or `serverUrl`, `headers` or `httpHeaders`); the values are the same. **Editor only supports stdio servers?** Use a small bridge such as `mcp-remote`: ```json "sitesfare": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://api.sitesfare.com/mcp", "--header", "Authorization: Bearer "] } ``` ## Ask - "Show me my Sitesfare websites." - "Update the About section of ira with this text: …" - "Here's a screenshot of a section — change the heading to 'Selected work'." - "Undo the last change." Changes are saved as drafts; say **"publish"** to put them live. Every change is in the site's **History** in the dashboard with one-click undo. ## Troubleshooting - **401 / unauthorized.** The key was pasted incompletely (it starts with `sfk_`) or was revoked. Create a new one. - **"This account does not hold AI editor access…"** Add the add-on for that kind of website under AI editors. - **The editor expects an SSE server.** Sitesfare uses streamable HTTP (the current MCP transport). Pick "http" or "streamable HTTP"; if only SSE is offered, use the `mcp-remote` bridge above. ## Questions **My editor only supports stdio servers.** Use a small bridge such as mcp-remote: command "npx", args ["-y", "mcp-remote", MCP_URL, "--header", "Authorization: Bearer "]. Sitesfare’s own bridge package is on the way. **Which editors have been tested?** ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex CLI and Windsurf have dedicated guides. Anything that implements MCP over streamable HTTP with custom headers works the same way. --- # Edit a section from a screenshot, text or photos > Paste a screenshot of a page or section and say what to change; or give text and images for a section. The editor finds the section, updates it, and you publish. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/edit-from-a-screenshot Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Screenshot the section.** Take a screenshot of the page or just the part you want changed and paste it into your AI editor. 2. **Say what to change.** For example “change the heading to … and remove the second item”. The editor matches the screenshot to a section and edits its fields. 3. **Or give text and photos.** Paste the words and attach images; the editor fills the section and uploads the photos to your media library. 4. **Publish.** Say “publish” to put the draft live. 5. **Undo if needed.** Ask the editor to undo, or use the site’s History tab in the dashboard. Once your AI editor is [connected to Sitesfare](/guides/connect-ai-editors), you do not need to know field names or section ids. Show it the part of the page and say what you want. ## From a screenshot 1. Take a screenshot of the page — or just the section you want changed — and paste it into the chat. 2. Say what to change: *"This section — change the heading to 'Selected work' and remove the second project."* The editor reads your site as an outline (every section's headings, text and images), matches what it sees in the screenshot to a section, and edits that section's fields. Removing an item hides it — nothing is deleted, and it can be shown again. Tips: - One section per message keeps it precise. - If it picks the wrong section, say which one: *"no, the Services section"*. It can list every section of the site. - A tighter screenshot (just the section) matches faster than a whole page. ## From text and photos Give the words and attach the images: > Use these three photos for the gallery and this caption: "Studio, Bengaluru — spring 2026." Text goes into the section's fields — the editor respects each field's length and type, so a label stays short and a paragraph can be long. Photos are uploaded to your media library (up to 5 MB each) and placed in the image fields. An `https://` link to an image works too. ## Publish Nothing is live until you say so. Say **"publish"**; the editor publishes and tells you the address (`yourname.sitesfare.app`, or your own domain). Allow a minute for caches. ## Undo Changed your mind? Say *"undo that"*, or open your website's **History** tab in the dashboard and click **Undo this change**. Every change an editor makes is listed with who made it and which fields changed; undo restores the content as it was before that change, and can itself be undone. ## What it can and cannot do - It can: change any word, link, date or photo; show or hide sections and repeating items; change the accent colour, fonts, mood and per-section background colours and photos; [add a new section or a button](/guides/add-a-section-or-button-with-ai) anywhere on the page; upload images; publish; undo; start a new site from any template. - It cannot: change the template's own layout code, or move the site to another host (see [the hosting licence](/connect)). ## Example prompts - "Here's a screenshot of my hero — swap the photo for the attached one and make the headline 'Calm, useful interfaces'." - "Update the About section with this text: …" - "Hide the testimonials section and publish." - "Change the display font to Syne and the accent colour to #1F6F4A." - "Add these five projects to my portfolio: (title, one line, link) …" - "What did the AI change on ira this week?" — it reads the history. ## Questions **What if the editor picks the wrong section?** Tell it the section name (“no, the Services section”) — site_get lists every section — or paste a tighter screenshot. Nothing is lost: every change is in History. **Can it add a new section or a new button?** Yes. Besides filling, showing and hiding the template’s own sections, it can add a section of your own anywhere on the page — heading, text, an image and up to three buttons — and put a new button into any section. They take your template’s fonts and your accent colour. The template’s own layout code stays on Sitesfare. --- # Add a new section or a button to your website from an AI editor > Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or any connected editor for a new section — heading, text, photo, buttons — anywhere on the page, or for a new button in any section. It matches your template and is live when you publish. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/add-a-section-or-button-with-ai Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Connect your AI editor.** Add AI editor access in the Sitesfare dashboard and connect ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Claude Code or Codex (see the connect guides). 2. **Ask for the section.** Say the heading, the text, the photo and the buttons, and which section it should follow. The editor adds it with section_add; a photo you attach is uploaded first. 3. **Ask for a button.** Name the section and the button’s words and link (a website, an email, a phone number or a place on the page). The editor adds it with button_add. 4. **Adjust it.** Ask for new words, a background colour, centring, or a new place on the page; the editor changes only that with section_update or button_update. 5. **Publish.** Say “publish”. The new section and buttons are in the published page. 6. **Undo or remove.** Ask the editor to remove it, or use Undo this change in the site’s History. Once your AI editor is [connected to Sitesfare](/guides/connect-ai-editors), it can do more than fill in your template: it can **add a new section** of your own anywhere on the page, and **add a new button** to any section. You describe it in plain words; the editor does the rest. ## Add a section Tell the editor what the section says, what it shows and where it goes: > Add a section after About called "Work with me in 2027", with two short paragraphs, this photo on the right, and two buttons: "Book a call" to my cal.com link and "Email me". What you can put in a section: - a short line above the heading (a "kicker"), a **heading** and **text** — a blank line starts a new paragraph; - a **photo** — attach it, or give an `https://` link — on the left, on the right, or none; - up to **three buttons**, filled in your accent colour or outlined; - a **background colour** — the text turns light on a dark colour by itself; - the **place**: after any section, right after the header, or just before the footer. The section uses your template's typefaces and text colour, so it sits in the page as if it had always been there, on phones and on desktops. ## Add a button Name the section, the words and the link: > Put a "Download my CV" button next to the buttons in the hero, and a WhatsApp button under the contact form. A button can link to a website (`https://…`), an email (`mailto:…`), a phone number (`tel:…`), a page of your site (`/resume`) or a place on the page (`#contact`). In a section that already has buttons, the new one joins them in the template's own button style; elsewhere it gets a row of its own just below the section. ## Change it, move it, remove it Say what to change — only that changes: - *"Change the heading to 'Two slots left for 2027'."* - *"Make it dark navy and centre it."* - *"Move it above Projects."* - *"Change the WhatsApp button to say 'Message me'."* - *"Remove the section we added."* You can also hide an added section from the dashboard's preview, like any other section. ## Publish Additions are saved as a draft. Say **"publish"** and they go live on `yourname.sitesfare.app` (or your own domain). They are part of the published page itself, so visitors, search engines and AI assistants all read them. ## Undo Every addition and change is in your website's **History** with who made it. Ask the editor to undo it, or click **Undo this change** in the dashboard. ## Good to know - Up to 8 added sections and 12 added buttons per website; up to 3 buttons in a section. - Plain text only — no HTML or embedded code. That keeps pages fast, accessible and safe. For a fully custom page, [build and host your own design](/guides/host-your-own-app-from-an-ai-editor). - It works on every Sitesfare template: portfolios, business websites, wedding and celebration sites, stores and housing societies. ## Example prompts - "Add a 'Pricing' section before Contact with three lines of text and a 'Get a quote' button to my email." - "Add a dark 'As featured in' section after the hero, centred, with one line of text." - "Put a 'Book a table' button in the hero linking to https://example.com/book." - "Add a 'Visit us' section at the end with our address and a 'Get directions' button to Google Maps." - "Show me the sections we added, then remove the second one." The full list of what an editor can do is on [the tools page](/connect/tools). ## Questions **Will the new section look like the rest of my site?** It uses your template’s typefaces and text colour and your site’s accent colour for buttons, and it is laid out for phones and desktops. A button added to a section that already has buttons uses the template’s own button style. **Where can a section go?** After any section of the page, at the start (right after the header) or at the end (before the footer). An added section can also follow another added section. **What can a button link to?** Any https:// website, an email (mailto:), a phone number (tel:), a page of your site (/resume) or a place on the page (#contact). Links to scripts or files are refused. **Can I write HTML or embed code in the section?** No — sections take plain text, a photo and buttons; the formatting is done for you. That keeps every page fast, accessible and safe. For a fully custom page, build your own design and host it on Sitesfare. **Is there a limit?** Up to 8 added sections and 12 added buttons per website, each section with up to 3 buttons. Headings hold 120 characters and the text 1,500. **Can I edit the new section in the dashboard?** You can hide it from the dashboard’s preview like any section, and every change is in History. Its words and buttons are changed through your AI editor. --- # Host a site you vibe-coded with an AI editor > Built a site in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex? Ask it to host it on Sitesfare: it asks which category to host it under, deploys it to a private preview, and it goes live the moment you pay for that category’s plan. Web page: https://sitesfare.com/guides/host-your-own-app-from-an-ai-editor Part of: https://sitesfare.com/guides ## Steps at a glance 1. **Connect your AI editor.** Add the Sitesfare server to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code or Codex (see Connect your AI editor). Hosting your own code needs no AI editor add-on — you pay for the plan it is hosted on. 2. **Ask it to host the site — and choose the category.** The editor calls hosting_options and asks you which category to host under: each category’s plan, its price, and what the price includes (storage, monthly bandwidth, deploys a day, mailboxes, features). 3. **The editor creates the site and puts the files.** app_create makes the site in the category you chose; app_put_files stores static files (up to 500 files / 25 MB, index.html at the top). No server code, no build step. 4. **Deploy — preview, not live.** app_deploy checks and deploys it to a private preview address for 7 days; your sitesfare.app address shows “coming soon”. The editor gives you the preview and the payment link (also emailed to you). 5. **Pay — it goes live.** Pay for the plan from the link. The site goes live by itself the moment the payment is confirmed, with every feature and limit of that plan, and stays live while the plan is paid. Sitesfare is made for the sites and small apps people now build by talking to an AI editor. Build it in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code or Codex, then ask the editor to host it on Sitesfare: it asks you which category to host it under, deploys it to a private preview, and the site goes live the moment you pay for that category's plan — with HTTPS, analytics, SEO files and your own domain, without you touching a server. ## What you need - Your editor [connected to Sitesfare](/guides/connect-ai-editors). Hosting your own code needs **no AI editor add-on** — you pay for the plan the site is hosted on. - Nothing paid yet. The plan is paid at the end, once you have seen the site. ## How it goes 1. **Build it.** Vibe-code the site with your editor as usual — a static site: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images, fonts. 2. **Ask to host it.** *"Host this on Sitesfare at meera."* The editor calls `hosting_options` and **asks you which category** to host it under. Each option shows its plan, its price and what the price includes — storage, monthly bandwidth and requests, deploys a day, mailboxes and features. Every site is hosted on exactly one plan: a design portfolio on Creative & Design, a developer portfolio on Developer, a company site on Business Website, a shop on E-commerce, and so on. 3. **The editor creates the site and puts the files.** `app_create` makes the site in the category you chose; `app_put_files` stores the files. 4. **Deploy — not live yet.** `app_deploy` checks and deploys the site to a **private preview** address (for 7 days, not indexed by search engines). Your address `meera.sitesfare.app` shows "coming soon". The editor gives you the preview link and the **payment link**; we email both to you as well. 5. **Pay — it goes live.** Open the payment link (it opens your site's Code page with the checkout), pay for the plan, and the site goes live by itself the moment the payment is confirmed. From then on every `app_deploy` goes live at once, and the site has every feature and limit of its plan. 6. **Iterate.** `app_get_file` reads a file back, `app_put_files` replaces it, `app_deploy` publishes again. Every version is in the site's **History**. Already hold the category's plan with a free website place? Then step 4 goes live straight away. ## What the price includes The plan's own limits apply to your code exactly as to a template site: - **Storage** — your code plus the site's media, within the plan's storage. - **Bandwidth and requests a month** — measured every day at the edge. You are emailed at 80% and at 100%; a site is never slowed down or taken offline for traffic. - **Deploys a day** — each deploy, previewed or live, counts once. - **Mailboxes, analytics history, forms** and the plan's features, plus add-ons such as your own domain. It stays live while the plan is paid. If a renewal is missed the site is paused after the billing grace and comes back as it was the moment you renew; after 60 days unpaid it is deleted. ## What the site can contain - `index.html` at the top; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, images (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, SVG, ICO), fonts, video, audio, 3D models (glTF/GLB), WebAssembly, PDFs, JSON and XML — the full list is in the [own-code hosting reference](/guides/own-code-hosting-reference). - Up to **500 files** and **25 MB** in total, **5 MB** per file (or the plan's own file size, if smaller). Large photos and videos belong in your media library (`media_upload`). - Clean addresses: `about/index.html` opens at `/about`; a `404.html` becomes the not-found page. **Not supported:** server code (PHP, Python, Ruby, Go, Java, Node servers), `package.json`, lock files, framework sources (`.ts`, `.tsx`, `.jsx`), `Dockerfile`, `.env` files, executables or archives. Built with React, Vue, Astro, Hugo or similar? Have the editor run the build locally and put the output folder (`dist`, `build`, `out`) on the site. ## Starting from a design kit Every template has a kit — concept, palette, typefaces, shape and motion tokens, the scene, the voice it ships with, and its section map. An editor reads it with `kit_get` (or the resource `sitesfare://kit/
