LT-001Jazz
Monsoon Session
Arjun Varma Quartet · LP · 33⅓
Four long takes recorded live in one rainy afternoon in a Bandra flat. Piano, upright bass, brushes and a tenor that never hurries.
Lowtide Records
Scroll to flip the sleeves forward. The one at the front slides its record out — add it to your bag from here.
Every record lives behind one of four dividers. Choose one to pull its records to the front of the racks.
Twelve records on the wall this week. Used copies are graded by ear on our own turntable, not just by eye.

The Koli Street Band · LP · 33⅓
A nine-piece horn band from the fishing village at the end of the line. Tight drums, loose trumpets, a party on side B.
LT-003Raga
Meera Iyer · LP · 33⅓
A single raag across both sides, sitar and tanpura, recorded after midnight so the city would keep quiet.
LT-004Electronic
Static Saris · 12" EP · 45
Three tracks of slow, warm house built from bus-stop field recordings and a borrowed drum machine.
LT-005Jazz
Sameer Dutt Trio · LP · 33⅓
Ballads for the hour after sunset. Brushed snare, a piano with one sticky key, and a bass you feel more than hear.
LT-006Soul & Funk
Mahim Horns · 7" single · 45
One side to dance to, one side to cool down. Cut loud, the way a jukebox likes it.
LT-007Raga
Lowtide Ensemble · 2LP · 33⅓
Four sides of tuned drones for practice, reading or sleep. Pressed on heavy vinyl so the low end holds.
LT-008Electronic
Pallavi K · LP · 33⅓
Synth pieces that start in the studio and end on a rooftop. Bright arpeggios over a heartbeat kick.
LT-009Jazz
Fernandes Septet · Live LP · 33⅓
The last set of a Saturday night, glasses and all. Goan horns and a drummer who plays like he owns the room.
LT-010Soul & Funk
Bandra Social Club · LP · 33⅓
Sunny soul with handclaps, an electric sitar and a chorus the whole street can sing.
LT-011Raga
R. Prakash & Deepa · LP · 33⅓
A mridangam and a modular synth trading phrases. Old talas through new wires.
LT-012Electronic
Kuldeep Selector · 12" · 45
Deep dub with a sea-wall echo. Two versions, one each side, cut for big speakers.
Nothing behind this divider right now.
Every used record is cleaned, played on the house deck and graded on the same four steps.
Unplayed or played once. No marks you can see or hear, sleeve as it left the pressing plant.
Played with care. A light sheen under the lamp, silent between tracks.
Light marks you can see but barely hear. A soft crackle in the quiet passages, nothing that jumps.
Loved and played. Surface noise in the gaps, but the music comes through clean. Priced to match.
The shop is upstairs off Hill Road. The booth is first come, first served. Write to us to sell a collection, find a pressing or ask about a grade.
