What you'll need
- A Sitesfare website made from a template.
- An AI editor connected to Sitesfare: ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or any MCP editor (see Connect an AI editor).
1. Ask for the audit
Say:
"Run an SEO and AEO audit on my Sitesfare website."
The editor calls the site_seo_audit tool. It renders your saved draft exactly as it will be published and returns:
- A score from 0 to 100, with a grade.
- What needs you, highest impact first. Each item says why it matters, how to fix it and which field to change.
- What Sitesfare already does automatically when you publish: the structured data, title and description fitting, share image, hidden sections taken out,
llms.txt,llms-full.txt, the sitemap, robots.txtand the IndexNow ping. - A preview of the title, description, share image, structured-data types and
llms.txtthat will go live.
2. Let it fix things
Prompts that work well:
- "Write a title and a description for my site that say what I do and where. Keep the title under 60 characters and the description between 110 and 160."
- "My summary is too short. Here's what I do: … Turn it into three clear sentences for the About section."
- "Add my LinkedIn and GitHub links: …"
- "Add a section with the five questions clients ask me most, with short answers: …"
- "Hide the sections I'm not using."
The editor changes the fields the audit named, using site_update_fields. A new section of questions and answers is added with section_add. Everything is saved as a draft and recorded in History, so you can undo any change.
3. Check again, then publish
"Run the audit again. If the score is 90 or more, publish."
When you publish, Sitesfare sends the new pages to Bing, Yandex, Seznam and Naver through IndexNow straight away, and rewrites sitemap.xml for Google.
Good habits
- Write for people. Plain sentences that say who, what, where and why beat keyword lists, for Google and for AI assistants alike.
- Be specific. "Family dentist in Ranelagh, Dublin, open late on Thursdays" is something an AI can repeat. "Quality dental care" isn't.
- Keep it current. Answer engines prefer fresh, complete pages. Run the audit again after big changes.
- Connect Google Search Console (dashboard → Analytics → Search keywords) to see the real searches that find you.
Troubleshooting
The audit says search engines can't list the site. Search engines are switched off in the site's Settings → Search engines. Turn it on unless you want the site private. Wedding sites are private by design.
The score didn't change after an edit. The audit reads the saved draft, so check the edit was saved. The live site only changes when you publish.
"AI editor access needed". Reading and editing a template site from an AI editor needs AI editor access for its kind of website (dashboard → AI editors).
