How Sitesfare keeps its websites honest
Every website here is served with a policy its visitors’ browsers enforce, so a page can only reach the places it was seen using when it was published. Where a page asks for a password, a card or a code, what visitors type may go only to a destination its owner has proved they control. A robot visits every site after it is published and again on a schedule, types a fake password into every form that asks for one, and follows where it goes. A site that sends it to a chat-bot, or that Google already lists, goes offline within that visit — before anyone has to report it.
What we commit to
- A proof — a fake password reaching a chat-bot or paste service, a page on Google’s danger lists, a known scam kit — takes the site offline within the robot’s visit, and every account linked to it by the same card, device, bot or files goes with it.
- Two independent signs put a warning page in front of the site within the hour, until a person has looked.
- A visitor’s report is looked at within 24 hours, and the reporter is told the outcome.
- An owner’s appeal is answered within 24 hours; nothing is deleted when a site is taken offline, so a mistake is undone in a minute.
