Every order placed on your store is in Dashboard → your store → Orders (also the Orders button on your store's card on the dashboard). Practise on the three pretend orders above — the buttons do what the Status menu does on the real page.
What the Orders page shows
- At a glance: how many orders you have, how many still need action (New and Paid, not yet shipped), and your order value (every order except cancelled ones), in your store's currency.
- Store setup: a checklist that turns green when your products have prices, you have a way to get paid, and your store is live.
- Each order: number, date, shopper, total, items, discount and coupon, shipping, payment method, the shopper's note, and their email, phone (with a WhatsApp link) and delivery address.
- Filters by status, and Download CSV for your accounts or a courier upload.
The statuses
| Status | Use it when |
|---|---|
| New | The order has just arrived. For UPI or a payment page, wait for the money; for cash on delivery, confirm with the shopper. |
| Paid | The money has arrived, or a cash-on-delivery order is confirmed. Pack it. |
| Shipped | It is with the courier. Put the tracking number in the private note and send it to the shopper. |
| Delivered | The shopper has it (and, for cash on delivery, the cash is collected). |
| Cancelled | Refused, unpaid, or out of stock. It stops counting towards your order value. |
Statuses are your own records: the shopper got their receipt when they ordered, and status changes are not emailed to them. Use the order's email, phone or WhatsApp link to tell them their parcel is on its way.
Private notes
Each order has a note only you can see — tracking numbers, who packed it, a promised delivery date. It is saved when you click away.
Emails you receive
Every order sends New order #1001 · US$27.99 · Shopper name to your store's form email (Editor → Checkout & payments), or your contact email, or your account email. Reply to it to reach the shopper. If you expected one and it is not there, check Spam — and the order is always in Dashboard → Orders even if an email is delayed.
Limits that keep your store safe
- A shopper can place up to 10 orders in 10 minutes, and a store takes up to 120 orders an hour, to stop floods of fake orders.
- Orders count towards your plan's monthly form allowance.
- Orders never contain passwords, card numbers or one-time codes; anything that looks like one is refused.
